Beam Table Lamp
Description
The Beam Table Lamp is a compact solar powered outdoor lamp by Pebl, drawn by creative director Robin Delaere and designed in Belgium by the team he leads. A slim aluminum body carries its own solar panel, so the lamp gathers sun through the day and gives back a soft point of light after dark, with no cord and no outlet to plan around. It is a small piece from a brand that, since launching in 2017, says it has won more than 55 international design awards.

The frame is powder coated aluminum with a UV outdoor protected finish, in a quiet palette of Mocha, Charcoal and Light Green. Nothing about the lamp asks for attention, which is exactly why it works so well in groups. Two sizes are offered: the large stands 13 inches tall on a 6 inch diameter and comes in Mocha or Light Green, while the small stands 8 inches tall on a 4 inch diameter and adds Charcoal to those two colors.
Set one on a side table beside a lounge chair, or run three or five of the small size down the center of a dining table for a low, even glow that does not compete with conversation. Because there is no cord to route and no outlet to find, the placement is yours to change whenever the furniture moves.
Aluminum is the right frame material for a coastal yard, since the frame itself does not rust, and the UV protected powder coated finish is meant to hold its color through long Florida sun rather than fade out over a season. Bring the lamps in ahead of a serious storm, as you would with any light furnishing on an open terrace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Beam Table Lamp stay outside in South Florida?
Yes, for everyday use. The aluminum frame does not rust, and the UV protected powder coated finish is meant to hold its color through long Florida sun rather than fade over a season. The solar panel charges in daylight, so a sunny spot is best. Bring the lamps in ahead of a serious storm, as you would any light furnishing on an open terrace.
Which Beam size should I choose, and how many?
The large is 6 inches in diameter and 13 inches tall, in Mocha or Light Green, and suits a side table beside a lounge chair. The small is 4 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall, in Charcoal, Mocha or Light Green; three or five of them down the center of a dining table give a low, even glow that does not compete with conversation.
